Paddadam is a getaway unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
Nestled between two magnificent koppies, this unique cottage will take you back to basics. Fully equipped but without modern-day luxuries such as electric lights and cell phone reception, you will regain your appreciation for nature.
This stone cottage, sleeping two people, was built on the foundation of an old dam. With spectacular views you cannot get more peaceful than this. The cottage also has running water and its own fireplace for those brisk Karoo nights. The fully-equipped kitchen and bathroom, complete with hot running water, is located just adjacent to the cottage.
If you’re more than two people, a separate camping site close to the cottage offers the ideal place to pitch a tent.
You’ll be stargazing around the campfire cooking your dinner like in the olden days. For rainy days a gas stove can be provided.
Since Paddadam has no electricity, remember to bring along your lamps and flashlights.
